Principal Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Engineer with 20+ years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. This position will be based in Irvine, and will require some travel.

Requirements:

• US citizen or Permanent Resident.
• BS in Civil/Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or related field from an accredited university. MS is preferred.
• California PE.
• Current 40 hour HAZWOPER. QCM Training is preferred.
• Experience performing environmental investigation, remediation system design (Pump and Treat, SVE, In Situ Remediation), operations and maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems.
• Experience with DoD projects is preferred.
• Experience with addressing VOC/TPH contamination at complex sites.
• Emerging contaminants and Vapor Intrusion (VI) experience is preferred.
• Experience with the CERCLA process. RCRA experience is preferred.
• Experience in interacting with RWQCB, DTSC and EPA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of drawings and technical specifications
• Design of remediation systems, including pump and treat, bioremediation, chemical reduction, thermally-enhanced remediation, SVE, air sparging.
• Remediation system construction management.
• Preparation of work plans and reports.
• Project management.
• Mentoring of junior staff.
• Assist with proposals and business development.

Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. This position will be based in San Diego, and will require some travel.

Requirements:

• US citizen or Permanent Resident.
• BS in Civil/Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or related field from an accredited university. MS is a plus.
• California PE is a plus.
• 40 hour HAZWOPER.
• Experience performing environmental investigation, remediation system design (Pump and Treat, SVE, In Situ Remediation), operations and maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems. Experience with DoD projects is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office. Familiarity with GIS, GINT, MS Access, CAD and groundwater modeling is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of remediation systems (in-situ bioremediation, Pump and Treat, SVE, etc.) including preparation of design drawings and technical specifications.
• Construction management (requires field work).
• Preparation of work plans and reports.
• Management of O&M projects.
• Mentoring of junior staff.
• Assist with proposals, business development, and cost estimates.

Junior Engineer/Geologist

We are seeking a Junior Engineer/Geologist with up to 4 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. This position will be based in San Diego, and will require travel.

Requirements:

• US citizen or Permanent Resident.
• BS in Geology or Civil/Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• Should have California GIT or EIT, or be committed to obtaining within 1 year of employment.
• Ability and willingness to travel and perform field work at remote sites.
• Proficient with MS Office. Familiarity with GIS, GINT, MS Access, CAD and groundwater modeling is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support field projects – groundwater monitoring, remediation system operation and maintenance, and construction oversight.
• Preparation of work plans and reports.
• Proposal and cost estimate support.
