NOREAS supported the Environmental Restoration Program (ERP) at Naval Base San Diego (NBSD), including soil and groundwater investigations, remediation, and consulting support for several IRP Sites, including IRP Sites 3, 4, 18, 20, 22, and former Building 209. NOREAS has been performing field investigations, installing monitoring wells, perimeter air quality and personnel air monitoring, sampling and reporting on groundwater, designing and implementing removal actions, providing consulting services associated with regulatory agency negotiations, and assisting the Navy with community outreach efforts and activities. Media addressed under this contract include soil, soil vapor, and groundwater impacted with chlorinated solvents and fuel-related hydrocarbons.
